Steps to follow

Undergraduate

   First-Time Freshmen

  1. Return the completed application with the $20.00 application fee.
  2. Request that your guidance counselor send an official high school transcript including current courses and complete the counselor recommendation form.
  3. Send SAT and/or ACT scores. The SAT code is 6303. The ACT code is 4106.
  4. High school graduates of two years or more are not required to submit SAT/ACT scores.
  5. General Equivalency Diploma (GED) recipients must submit official verification with test scores, and an official transcript of all high school work completed.

   Transfer

  1. Return the completed application with the $20.00 application fee.
  2. Request official transcript(s) from every college/university attended to be sent to the Office of Admissions.
  3. Applicants with less than 24 semester hours of college-level work completed must submit an official high school transcript in addition to college transcript(s).

   Transient

  1. Return the completed application with the $20.00 application fee.
  2. Submit official transcript or letter of good standing from last college or university attended.

 

Graduate

   First-Time Graduate and Transfer Doctoral Program Admission

  1. Complete the application for admission to the School of Graduate Studies and return it with a $20.00 application fee in the form of a check or money order. This fee is non-refundable.
  2. Submit official transcripts from all colleges attended, undergraduate and graduate, reflecting degree(s) received from an accredited U.S. institution or equivalent training at an institution outside the U.S.
  3. Submit official score reports from the Graduate Records Examination (GRE), Miller Analogies Test (MAT), or the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT), according to the requirements of the specialization for which you are applying.
  4. Submit two letter of references, at least one of which is from a professional colleague.
  5. Attend one of the two opportunities to produce a writing sample on a discipline specific topic. Call the Office of Graduate Studies or graduate advisor for your specialization for further details.
  6. Schedule an interview with the graduate advisor for your specialization.

   Please read the instructions above thoroughly prior to completing application. There is a non-refundable $20 application fee which you will be assessed at a later date.
