Visiting Faculty Exchange Opportunities at UIW
Teaching

Visiting Scholar teaching opportunities may be offered when there is evidence of:

A clear fit between the academic preparation of the proposed Visiting Scholar and the degree fields offered at UIW,
A clear indication of the Visiting Scholar’s ability to teach well in English, and
Appropriate classes are scheduled during the semester of availability of the Visiting Scholar.

In order to become familiar with the degree plans offered at UIW and, therefore, gain insight into the generally-expected classes to be offered routinely in order to support these degree plans, please see the listing of degree plans at http://www.uiw.edu/admissions/programs.html.

Interested Visiting Scholars are invited to submit the completed Sister School Visiting Scholar Profile and a current resume to Dr. Pat LeMay Burr, Dean—International Programs, at burr@universe.uiwtx.edu. The submission, in turn, will be presented to the appropriate UIW Committee charged with evaluation of all similar submissions.
