Visiting Faculty Exchange Opportunities at UIW
Short Term Lectures

Short term lecture awards may be made available to Visiting Scholars who exhibit:

An exemplary track record of research, teaching and expertise in a particular field for which there is established interest on the UIW campus and fit within the academic degree plans offered, and
A clear indication of the applicant’s ability to deliver lectures effectively in English.

In order to become familiar with the degree plans offered at UIW and, therefore, gain insight into the generally-expected classes to be offered routinely in which fit for the proposed topics exists, please see the listing of degree plans at www.uiw.edu.

Interested Visiting Scholars are invited to submit the completed Sister School
Visiting Scholar Profile and a current resume to Dr. Pat LeMay Burr, Dean—International Programs, at burr@universe.uiwtx.edu. The submission, in turn, will be presented to the appropriate UIW Committee charged with evaluation of all similar submissions.
